Maddie spent most of the afternoon baking his birthday cake for him! Thanks to my friend, Angel, she now knows how to make icing stars and is starting to decorate a cake more professionally. She even did the writing all by herself! Not bad at all for an almost 11 year old! Sometimes I miss making the cakes, but then I see her face when she is done and know it was right to pass that family tradition on to her! I would love to buy her a few shaped pans so she can practice! Remind me to check garage sales!
