More Photo Art....

This was a piece I did at Christmas time when our friend sang Mercy Me's "Joseph's Lullaby".
I extracted a picture of a cross from a stock photo and embedded it in Jesus' hand to show the tension in the knowledge that Joseph's new baby boy would some day be crucified to save the world. After I made it to be shown in church while the song was sung, I changed my mind. I was concerned that some people might be troubled by such a graphic visual display on Christmas Eve. But I have since shown it the friend in whose honor it was made, and he loves it. So I will print him one to frame before we move. (Add that to the To Do Before We Move List!)
